Saga City Hotel decent but dated.

The onsen in the hotel was nice, Room was clean, Check-in process was smooth, good location near Saga station, amenities were nice.

Room was quite small, Hotel felt dated and old, bathroom was also quite small. Was a bit pricey for what I got, probably because I reserved my room close to when the balloon festival was happening.

I loved the bath in the early morning, not many people there so I can relax properly at 5am.

I wish the soundproofing could be a little better.

chinese speaking staff available during our stay & was able to handle our enquiry. Room is clean & spacious compare to big cities' hotels.

the coin laundry was not within the hotel. had to walk in rain to wash, dry, collect my clothes. It will be great if public bath close at midnight.

Location: walk to JR station only takes 4 minutes

Dinning room (breakfast restaurant) is lit bit small. Bump into a travel group, hence been queue in line for entering. But fare is good.

Very good value

We were in a classic non-smoking twin room, beds were comfortable and the room was clean with a TV. Staff was nice. It is not a charming hotel but it is very well situated (at 3min walk from the station) and a very good value for money.

Decent size room, Japanese-style breakfast available, cheap parking.

The duvets didn't have bedsheets on. Loud AC that would turn on/off sporadically at night. The hotel seems to be quite old so some of the facilities are old as well. Room door was hard to unlock.

The Public men/women's Baths at the Hotel were very good and having the lounge area on the 2nd floor lounge was good to go if you didn't want to sit in your room.

I liked the onsen and the price for the hotel. The location was great and it was generally clean.

A little disappointed that the sauna is only for men. The air was dry. Was it possible to rent a humidifier?

Great option for a short term stay and young/backpack travellers.

It is near by the Saga train station. It offered a cup of Costa coffee as a welcoming drink. The room has two tables while most hotels only provided one. The room light switch is on a reachable distance from the bed which is great.

The room has a significant height difference between the bed and bathroom, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with difficulty climbing stairs. To address this, a portable stair is installed, which can be a bit awkward when using the provided chair in the room because of how it's positioned. Additionally, there were foreign tourists shouting to communicate with others around 5 AM, lasting for about 20 minutes.

Neat, clean. We were surprised that they have an onsen as well.

The room was very tiny, but that it pretty common in Japan. A bit oldfashioned as well.

An ok hotel, central location

Very central hotel for Saga City and easy to get to where you need to go.

The room smelt damp and felt grubby. The decor felt dated and needed a refurb. My room looked like it had damp issues that had been repaired badly.
